Woah now, hold your hats and fasten your seatbelts.  Former American Idol’soddly-phenomenal star, Clay Aiken has finally, finally, finally fessed up to being the big “G”.

“Yes, I’m Gay” reads the caption on this week’s cover of People Magazine.  Clay gave his official coming out statement to the mag after expressing his need to “get it off his chest” in order to properly raise a child.  Speaking of baby: this is also the first ever pictures we have seen of Clay and Whats-her-face’s bebe!  Publicity?  Of course not!!!

Rumor has it he has been sneakily flirting online with multiple men, including a certain, someone from the new season of Survivor.  This contestant on the show seems fine with the fact and has been speaking about it freely!  Ugh, as if.

“I cannot raise a child to lie or hide things.”

Aiken’s son, Parker Foster Aiken, was born on August 8, 2008 at 8:08 AM. He fathered the child with Jaymes Foster (through artificial insemination), whom he met while appearing on American Idol. Foster would later become Aiken’s producer.

“Since leaving SPAMALOT in May, jokes have just not been funny. Food has lost its taste. The grass is no longer green – the sky no longer blue. And, babies WON’T stop crying!! I’m so excited about coming back to the funniest show in the world!”

Earlier this week, speculations were swirling stating that fellow broadway Hairspray co-stars Ashley Parker Angel and Aubrey O’Day have started a relationship.  Not like anyone cares anyway, but according to PerezHilton.com, Ashey’s rep issued a statement claiming that he is strictly working with Aubrey and nothing further.  Actually, the statement is quite clear…has there been beef between the two already?

“Any claim regarding a romantic link between Ashley Parker Angel and Aubrey O’Day is completely false. Angel and O’Day met only two weeks ago as cast members of Hairspray on Broadway and are nothing more than friends. The statements and rumors that came from O’Day are clearly nothing more than an attempt to gain press.“

On an off-note, I still haven’t seen Hairspray on broadway since it began and it is one of my all-time favorite flicks (the 80′s version starring Ricki Lake of course).  I’m hoping to make it out there before the end of the year.
