Yes, you read that right.  (?)

Ken Paves, celebrity hair stylist and best friend to socialites like Jessica Simpson, Eva Longoria and Christina Applegate, was involved in a minor debacle with the L.A. paparazzi when the photographers got a little too close to the stars (trying to exit L.A. restaurant Madeo).

Ken was trying to guide/help Jessica into their car when a photographer accidentally struck him in the face with a camera.  The result?  A bloody face & 9 stitches!

Mr. Paves issued the following statement via People.com:

“I appreciate everyone who has expressed concern.  While I did not expect a dinner out with friends would end up with me in the emergency room and nine stitches in my head, I am fine.”

“My only real concern on Saturday night, and it remains so in retrospect, was for the safety of my friend and all concerned,” he says. “I understand everyone has a job to do, including paparazzi. If I were to say anything about Saturday night, it is only to encourage that everyone would respect and care for the safety of others above all else.”

Ps. Why are Jessica’s chesticles growing exponentially?!

Jessica Simpson’s ill-fated feature film, “Major Movie Star” has finally been released…just not in America.   

On October 6th, 2008 the film was released and quickly rose to the top of the Box Office, ranking at #1!

Does this mean we will finally get to see it here in the states?  Keep your fingers crossed!

UPDATE:  According to IMDB.com, the film is slated for a direct-to-dvd release on February 3rd, 2009!  The film has undergone a few changes, including a name change.  The new name is:  “Private Valentine:  Blonde & Dangerous”

Alright you people…here we have the brand spankin’ new release of Jessica Simpson’s country debut release, “Do You Know.”  I was actually pleasantly surprised while listening to the CD.  J. Simp really seems to hit the “country” nail on the head.  Maybe this would have been a better career move for her after, oh, her 1st album?  :-/

Now, Jessica Simpson can add “alcohol” to her plethora of business ventures.  Jessica is now the spokeswoman for Dallas-brewed beer, Stampede.  The first ad has now been given the “go” for print and here is your first look at Jessica whoring it out for their newest beer, Stampede Light Plus.

Per her newest business arrangement, Jessica has said to have gained 5 million shares of the company which should give her annual salary just a little boost.

Is it me or would have her hot pink Dukes of Hazzard bikini on this ad made more of impact?  I mean, this picture screams “zero cleavage,” and we all know with Jessica, this isn’t the case.  You judge!

America’s beloved semi-sweetheart, Jessica Simpson is releasing her first country album on September 5th via Columbia Nashville and this is the first single/video off the disc.  “Come On Over” is a perfect initial track to drench Jess into the country market.  The song screams country and is stuck in your head after only one play.  She also vows to, “never make a pop record again,” according to her quote at Country Thunder 2008 last week.
